Pretty much any shop should be able to do a safety for you, even Crappy Tire. Just walk in and ask. Cost ranges from about $60 - $100 and doesn't take long.

Hey guys, so I purchased a 2009 Ninja 250r and went to MTO to get a plate. They gave me a temporary sticker and said I needed to get it safetied. How do I go about this? Can any auto shop safety it? I'm located in Toronto if this helps.
Thanks

ok since we are on this topic lol:
i searched and found threads, but not quite answering my question
bought a bike with safety, went into get is registered. no insurance yet (at that time i registered) so i only registered it as "FIT" and "unplated". the thing is, the chick took my safety slip. fast forward 2 weeks later, lets say i get proof of insurance and want to plate it, would i need another safety? EVEN though i just did it like 2 weeks before? AND the person took my safety slip which i could have used it in this situation?
EDIT: nevermind found my answer lol. answer is no, dont need another safety for those who were wondering as well

Who can legally certify a motorcycle?? A motorcycle mechanic is specifically needed for this or an auto mechanic can safety the bike as well?
I haven't heard of Crappy Tire working on bikes, that's why I am wondering.
