Congrats on the new bike and welcome.
All you need for the riding course is a jacket (leather/denim), boots that cover your ankles and gloves that cover your wrists.
When I did my course a few people were wearing jean jackets and construction boots/Timberlands.
Enjoy the course and your new toy!

Welcome. If you're on a budget consider digging up any old leathers or denim you have laying around for the course, especially if your plan is to buy textile or mesh gear (some classes won't allow these materials).

Welcome!! for your m2 course i wouldnt say you need the BEST gear, as long as your decently protected with what they want you to wear it'll be sufficient enough. Since you wont be going super fast in a parking lot lmao

Welcome Try going to Value Village and look for a denim or leather jacket there...I got a leather jacket from there for $20 that I just used for the course.

Denim is not acceptable, it will be up to the instructors if they let you but it has to be leather

    Welcome

when i went to Sheridan in 08, all i had was a denim jacket and landscaping gloves. they provided the helmet. no issues.

    Welcome OP!
the insurance quote for the 125 is high. but this is your first bike, first year. i would expect it to be high anyways. my first year on the 250, i paid $200/month.

edit: im with Jevco. but when i called them my first year, they didnt take me becuse i had no previous experience. after 1 year of motorcycle license i switched over to them.

    Welcome
I have been told just now by a friend that they do accept it, weird because I was told no when I did it.

    I take it back
