    Another newbie!

    Hi there,

I'm a newbie to the board, a long time passenger and a brand new M1 licensed rider. I just bought my first bike and am signed up to do the course in May. Like a lot of newbies, I intend to leave my bike in the garage until I do the course but.... well I'm gonna try, but I can't guarantee anything! OMG I couldn't be more excited to be sitting in the driver's seat finally!!

Added a pic! Thanks for the welcome everyone!

And for the record, I don't keep it in the garage all the time... sometimes I take it out, fire it up, throw it in gear, let the clutch out till it starts to roll and then pull it in again real quick! I also kiss it good night before I lock it up again lol! soon enough...

I had the same problem. It says profile but you really need to add the avatar pic.

Hey I'm a newbie rider and new to the site too. I already got my M2, i'm not sure why wouldn't just hop on the bike in an empty parking lot and take it step by step slowly I think it can make the progress in the course easier, that was the case for me anyway I took my bike that I bought recently to an empty big church parking lot and rode it few days. it was lots of fun and when I took the course everything went very smooth and I notice couple of people that never set on the bike before had a little more difficult time to catch up. so if you feel comfortable just go with a safe fellow experience rider and practice a bit, believe it or not that little bit practice can make the progress much easier in the course.

    cheers, ride safe
