    Dual-Sport ride Saturday March 17th

So through research I have determined Newtonville too muddy to explore this weekend, so we're going to do a Bethany pre-ride instead.

Meeting up with Z1K and possibly others to explore and potentially map the 2012 Bethany route - anyone up for joining us??

The area we're exploring is near Port Perry (ie Byers Rd and beyond). We're not going to get into anything too nasty so it is relatively beginner friendly.

I'm leaving Toronto (yorkdale mall) around 10am, and have space on my truck for 1 (maybe 2) more bikes - so if you're interested in joining but want to avoid the 45 minute pound-the-pavement jaunt to the start of the route let me know and you can probably hitch a ride with me.

Common you dual-sport Torontonians!!! This is the nicest weather I think we've EVER had to start a season, let's get out and get riding!!!!!

    -EDIT-

Here's some clips from our ride this past weekend...

don;t ride the trails yet, unless the trailmaster has deemed them open. there is too much water in the subsoil, and it can damage the trails

No worries. Still a few weeks from that yet. Just some fire roads/road allowances to scratch the itch for now. From what I saw today it looks like it'll be an early season though. The snow was almost non-existant and the ground seemed to be drying up nicely.

It was good to get out and shake the cobwebs off today.

Would definitely have been up for this, but at the cottage this weekend. I'll keep an eye out for future rides.
Better to regret something you have done than something you haven't.
