Don't mind me, i was just hired by the government to look through your webcam and make sure you paid all your taxes on the fancy stuff you have.
PS> I'll be checking your favorite porn links and emails too in case i find a reason to throw you in jail.

i heard an interesting comment on the upcoming elder abuse ramp up:
Since most abuse comes at the hands of relatives the abused may be more reluctant to complain if they think their offspring is going to be facing serious punishment. In some cases the abuser is the only contact with the outside world. Crappy choices.

wow what the **** happened to this thread. The comment that was taken as "angry" was probably the best and most relevant part of this thread and i just hadn't gotten a chance to respond to this. It needs to be pointed out that no one is doing anything about this, and the first step is getting people to realize this is something that people should be getting mad about. Way to take an important topic that people need to be able to voice their opinions on and sensor the hell out of it. Who ever moderated this is an absolute half wit.

Someone believe that jail scares criminals. What do you call a place where you go away but only to meet up with you friends? watch TV? get 3 meals a day plus snacks? get recreation time? SUMMER CAMP!!! YAHHHH!!!!!
I wish this law had stiffer sentences for white collar crime. With the damage being done by identity theft and securities fraud, a nickle and dime street pusher cannot compare.
I tried to get many of my friends and family up in arms about this. I was only mildly successful. People still think their government works for them, and has their best interests in mind. In short, the majority of people are naive. But they're becoming less so, which is a good sign.

what i see in people is even worse, it seems if the matter at hand isnt going to affect them on a personal level in the next 24 hours they just dont give a ****. How many non violent, first offenders are we going to let the canadian government put in jail in our names?
And besides when the hell did we get so strict on marijuana? Something thats borderline socially acceptable in this country, a country that at one point decriminalized the substance and has lead the way with legal reform on the matter, and now we're going the other way.
I dont care if you're for or against the substance, when did we become a country that believed in persecuting people who aren't causing anyone else harm.
I was quite happy with the direction was going before it got censored, and would like to write more but because of surgery i only have one hand to type with at the moment, which makes it hard to say a lot.
