So what happens to everyone that is with them already with SS?
Will they get renewed or will they just not let them renew?

If your renewal is after May 15th it will be cancelled. A letter will be sent out to advise you of the non-renewal.

    Re: Jevco Changes

wholey ****, i just signed on with jevco.

    Z though, not technically a SS...I HOPE

gotta say, i love the 6 payments...leaves me alot better off for the fall/winter months...not having to pay.
but its our job to end this and ride motorcycles like men...today's society is soft as hell. but riding a 600cc is the least you can do...

    It will likely be:

    0 -- 00MO - 12MO of experience
    1 -- 12MO - 24MO of experience
    2 -- 24MO - 36MO of experience
    3 -- 36MO+ of experience

    It used to be:

    0 -- 00MO - 12MO of experience
    1 -- 12MO+ of experience

This more refined segmentation is good news for experienced riders (since their premium should come down a little) but bad news for inexperienced riders (since their premium will likely increase anywhere from a little to not-so-little). The experienced riders will not be subsidizing the inexperienced riders as much.

Thanks Corey. Any idea on what the premium drops will be as you progress through the age bands?

I'm assuming that these aren't cumulative drops (meaning that the 50+ operator actually pays more than the 45-49 operator)?

That makes sense. I would expect the 40-49 group to be less of a risk than the 50+ group.

I guess that only leaves state farm for new drivers. Maybe td. Glad I'm not a new driver but do feel bad for guys who want to drive with a 250 or even 125 butl have to pay arm and leg.

The FZ6 is considered a standard bike by Jevco. I have my 07 FZ6 insured with Jevco. My last renewal this past August was a little under $900 for comprehensive.

250R are not considered a SS. Jevco would not cancel you based on that bike
