A return to riding

My name is Tim and I am coming back to to riding after almost 30 years. I think I got my M licence in 1979.
I rode street bikes back then but have now have a 2003 BMW R1150gs. Thankfully we have had great March weather
so I have been able to retrain myself.
I joined the forum because I am planning a little ride out to Victoria and back early this summer.I have been
reading the trip section and it's been very helpful figuring what to bring and roads to take.
Hope to meet some riders along the way.
