Looking for motorcycle insurance and I'm having a hard time narrowing down which statefarm agent to go with. I can search by "distance" away from me but I would prefer an agent with more experience dealing with motorcycle insurance and has a history of good customer service (returning phone calls, responding to emails, etc).
Thanks,
Yorick

Got off the phone with Dean Sukhu from Statefarm yetserday and it was a pleasure working with him. Very detailed and quick to respond, highly recommend!!
By the way, don't bother with TD if you have a sport bike. Called them to confirm their online quote and it was the same ridicolous $5000/year, lol.
Thanks,

Grant Redfern.
He's knowledgeable about bikes and responds to emails within the hour. I signed up for my policy via email so I didnt have to go to his office.

I live in North York but heading east gives me a good reason to hit up RD and GPB.

She was the worst. Friendly but clueless about motorcycle insurance.
Tells me I need 6 years of driving experience
Tells me I need to get life insurance to lower my premium
So I go to another SF agent and he insures me with 5 years experience and doesn't even bring up life insurance, on top of that he got me a cheaper rate.
Actually I called another SF agent before was quoted $1500 liability only then called my sisters agent and got a way better deal for full coverage.
looks like I guess you have to shop for the SF agent right for you. Oh well, as long as got a good rate.
+1 for Nick Stefanidis just signed up with him. Good guy.
I don't deal with Seamus Kelly (based out of Hamilton), but he has answered some questions that I have sent him through the forum by PM. I think he would be great to deal with:

I personally deal with Travis Cairns who is based out of Niagara on the Lake. I selected Travis four years ago based on recommendations, even though I live hours from his agency office. I prefer email communication, and his agency is VERY quick to respond to my e-mails, and I tend to ask a lot of questions They're always friendly, and never make you feel like you're wasting their time.

I'm an Actuarial Analyst for a Major Canadian Insurance Company. I analyse claims patterns to determine overall rate changes, as well as relative premium differences by various risk characteristics (eg. age, experience, claims, convictions, usage, etc.)
Unless it's private, please post insurance-related questions in the forum rather than sending me a PM.
