First off. Do NOT use that oil. Go and return it, and if your shopping at CT buy the 4 cycle motorcycle oil.
Best bet would be to go to your local bike shop, and buy some Motul 5100 or equivalent.

I typed in oil change on the forum search and wasnt coming up with anything :/
So yesterday i went to cantire to buy some stuff for my oil change, i got a torque wrench which is on sale so if you need one lmao now is the time. I also got oil... now i did not plan this trip out properly so i asked an employee what oil is best for a 09 ninja 250, so he told me to get semi-synthetic LUCAS 2-cycle oil
http://images.motorcycle-superstore....cle-Oil---.jpg
looks like that. now im a bit paranoid since its SEMI synthetic now would it be okay for my ninja? and it doesnt have the 10W-30 kind of ranking on it. was wondering if anyone uses this oil and if it's okay or if there is another recommended oil for my bike.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Looks like it's for two-stroke engines. I use Castrol Grand Prix (four stroke), you can find it at Canadian Tire as well. It's not synthetic, I don't know if that's a deal breaker or not for you.
Edit: Beaten to it
my god -.- i have a 4 stroke engine dont i . . . he guy told me he rode an sv 650 and thats wut he uses and said its top of the line. jaysus i got the shiet trolled out of me

get in contact with John from pasco synthetics, he can give you a good deal on it.

so i realized for that past 3 months, 50 kms i have been running on mobil1 10w-30 oil.. the CONSERVING ENERGY ONE D:
now i put this oil in when i was not able to get my bike started after purchasing it, since the eyeglass had nothing in it so i freaked out (it was late) and drove to teh nearest gas station and purchased some synthetic oil . . .
I did not realize it was the CONSERVING energy one until this morning i picked up the bottle to check . . . my heart dropped LMAO
so how destroyed is my wet clutch . . . -.- yes i am an idiot
