Like how they blur out the instrument display. Can't give away any data to those Yamakas.

It's not the lean angle so much as the amount of power he is putting down at that lean angle.

What is the dial he keeps turning with his left hand? It'd be cool to be able to see his hands to see how he's working the inputs/levers in some of those corners
Why did he use the kill switch while he's still coasting into the pits? Isn't that bad for the bike?

That looks fake. I'm not saying it is but it just looks wierd. And kinda offputting.
If you're a Top Gear fan they did a whole show from the Nurburging;

The comments on youtube say its a gyroscopic camera so it might be. I dunno. It just looks like the bikes pivoted through the windscreen and seems to swing underneath it. I'm pretty sure it's genuine, it's just a weird camera view.

Simoncelli apparently was asked if he was afraid of dying in a racing accident & he responded: "NO. You live more for 5 minutes going fast on a bike like that than other people do in all of their life."
Life's time is finite. Be honest & Let's Ride.
Lap Record depends on what kind of lap you're talking about - That being said a guy went faster than him a few years earlier:
