    Walking Dead

Anybody watches this show? I'm hooked.
It's true, TV is better than movies now. The suspense and drama is riveting

    Re: Walking Dead

Been watching it since its inception - only T.V. I watch these days.

I'm a little disappointed with the directorial changes that occurred from last season to this one. I think the original season was more action/suspense-based and this season focuses more on character dynamics/development - but maybe that's just my inner sociopath talking here...

P.S. For those that haven't been to the web site, go and watch the webisodes, there were 6 mini-episodes that shed light on that first season half-corpse that Rick puts out of its misery.

I can't wait for Rick's annoying wife to DIE! She was annoying in Prison Break too.

    Totally agree with you.

First season was phenomenal but the second season really sucked! The writing, the directing all just horrible and a few scenes contradict what was established about zombies in the first season. ie: Zombies can smell humans from a distance, but in season two, at the school yard, the zombies can't smell them around the corner only 10' away? Actually, that whole school scene was pathetic and I haven't watched an episode since. Wish they kept Frank Darabont and the original writers

I wasn't as hooked now. I watched a few in the 1st season and just stopped. Maybe I should refer back to them so I can understand things a bit more.

Can't believe its finishing because I just watched 3 so far, lol

HAHA, was that her? She looks uglier here.
Her character is interesting... trying to manipulate Rick to kill the other guy, lol.

Still love the show. The minor discrepancies don't bother me but they are plentiful. Yeah Loire is very annoying and doesn't pull her own weight around the camp. She needs to go.

I completely agree that the 2nd season sucks. Especially since after they killed all the zombies in the barn. Too much drama. But 2nd seasons of most series are crap anyway

Any show where the plot depends on characters making dumb mistakes to progress is a big fail. Prison break, 24, etc.

Time for someone to off both Shane and the old bugger. The first will either get them killed or will do it himself, while the second just stands there wringing his hands.

I enjoy the show, really liked season 1, the first half of season 2 really dragged for me and was tempted to stop watching. Week after week of the missing daughter - tedious. I've been enjoying the recent re-start of season 2 though - really liked the human on human conflict in the bar/town.

The wife and I addicted to the show too. Oh yeah, Rick's wife better get her brain eaten soon. She's the token "pot calling the kettle black" character on the show.

Loved the first season hated the second. Wayyyy too much time spent looking for Sophia and attempting to cultivate character development. The entire second season could've been accomplished in 2 - 3 episodes. Instead, we get to see what people in real life would probably do: find a place to bunker down and live out the rest of their miserable lives. I'd like to see them go back to being nomads.

Haha, I loved that scene. It reminds me a bit of Terrantino scenes but nobody can top Terrantino, lol.
It really surprised me how the scene escalated, i though it would've been friendly, until the other guy started to press on coming to their farm, lol. Good draw from the sheriff tho, a true cowboy, lol

Most shows have a lot of politics involved. Just like "Lost" they normally have to deal with the Network telling them to prolong the show to get more ads and having no definite time to end the show. So the writers are thrown off on how to wrap up the conclusion. I hope they really conclude the story well, unlike Lost

    Heh.

Shane is just a powder keg that's about to go off (you can just see him coming undone at the seems) - can't wait to see who he drags down with him.

I saw the trailer for the next episode and he and the blonde girl is planning to relieve Rick as a leader, lol. Should be interesting, provided they almost kill each other.

But I still don't get it, if u don't agree with the group so much, form your own group.

Another gripe I have with the concept is why are they seeking refuge on a farm? Shouldn't they be settling in something more secure? Something with bars in the windows at least?
If it were me, I'll seek refuge in a prison. Designed to keep ppl in, good enough to keep zombies out. A vault would be nice too
