    New Rider - North York

    hello guys and girls
been on the forum for just under a year.

    Bike History:
First bike I was ever on was a 2005 suzuki katana. One of my uncles taught me on that.
Second bike I believe was a small kawasaki trial bike dont remember the cc or the model but that was alot of fun.

Went to school didnt have time or money seeing how university robs you of life.

After graduation and getting my first job i decided to take the RTI course. best thing I've done. Refresh memory and try out some more bikes -
took the course on a CBR.

Last fall I picked up a 2008 gsxr600. took it out a few times before the snow fell and have been suffering the motorcycle blues since then.

So far I've met a few people from the forum and dealt with Ted from Rosey Toes since so many people recomended him and so far this forum is far from a disappointment.
looking forward to this season and meeting some more people.

    Welcome *biker wave*
The Katana was on my list of first bikes as well, ended up with Kawi Ninja 650 which i have yet to ride. I'm loving the networking on here..dont get me started about motorcycle blues, had them since my M2 exit course last year August...arrghh!!

    zoltar:
hows the battery life on the bike with an alarm, some people ive spoke to says it kills the battery quicker for some reason.
    can anyone give feed back?

    flexrider:
just when i put my motorcycle blues to the side. one of two things happen...
    a. i get good weather but remain insured (for example 2moro.. high of 13)
    b. my insurance company politely calls and asks if i have had any second thoughts about insuring it earlier due to good weather.

the networking and the amount of info on this site is astonishing.

I put a new battery injury now I need a voltage regulator cause the battery is over voltage. As far as alarm draining the battery I haven't heard that. Will see how it goes once I get the regulator replaced
