Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the street bike riding scene, just picked up a 2003 suzuki gsxr 1000 last august, this will be my first year on the street. The bike is in real nice shape with only 18 k on it. Very excited to ride this year and maybe come to some meets. I am 30, live in keswick, and will probablybe doing a fair amount of toronto riding. cheers-scott.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.
I grew up riding motocross bikes, my last bike (god do i miss her) was a 2006 CRF450R. I rode a couple 600's and just wanted a little more. I have taken this bike out a couple times just for a try, it is pretty crazy, but im not going to go out and start blasting threw the gears all over town, and highside it into a parked car (well hopefully not...lol). I accell at most things I do and am usually a patient learner. I will say though that i have picked up bad habits riding dirtbikes, not skill wise, but safety wise on the street.
Welcome! Lots of power.. Be safe! Congrats on the purchase!
