    Biker suffers “significant head injuries”

    Heard about this just after i got in yesterday from my 1st ride of 2012. I had some sympathy for him until the wife told me he had no helmet on. Cant seem to find anymore details yet.
    3 years ago, my brother was almost killed doing the exact same thing. No helmet, drunk passenger and only 2 prior months of riding Did not make for a good ending to his 19th birthday night.

    More details have been released about a crash that happened on Belleville’s North Front St. at Tracey Park Dr.
    The crash occurred around 11:00am.
    A 30-year-old west-end resident crashed on his motorcycle and suffered “significant head injuries”.
    Police have not released his name.
    He was taken to Belleville General Hospital by ambulance. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
    All lanes have reopened to traffic.
    Police say charges may be laid. The investigation continues.

    I heard he was on a dirtbike. Someone actually called me to make sure it wasnt me after seeing me out on mine yesterday.
