    Exclamation Electrical problem?

So when I purchased my bike signals were fine, now that i have installed LED I have an issue the flasher relay will not heat up to make the signals flash. I understand that LED lights have low resistance, also I have tried putting resistors in the paralle circuit (10W 22ohms) and still nothing... Should i try going up to 10W 27ohms? should I change my flasher relay? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

LEDs are +/- sensitive unlike traditional bulbs. Make sure you have not crossed the wires.

Yes, change the relay. Ditch the resistors. (you may need as much as 40 Watts, 4 Ohms to get your existing flasher working properly)

There are other postings on this very topic.
Get an LED compatible relay, your flashing problems will be solved. Your next problem will be if the signals are not visible and therefore not legal. Most of the LED aftermarket signals & lights are decoration, not to be used on the street.
