    Help ... someone please give me a quote.. I need to change brokers...

    Hey guys I need help and quickly my insurance payment is currently with jevco through john duffy and i am quoted for way too much and i dont want to pay the same amount again and i also do not want to be forced to sell the bike


    bike - 2000 Yamaha r6
    age - 23 turning 24
    years insured with motorcycle so far - 2
    license - G and M2
    I have gotten 0 tickets and 0 accidents with bike and my car
    I live in markham aswell

    Your prob gonna get close to the same rate until you hit 25. Also I payed more in insurance when I lived in Markham than downtown.

    State Farm will be your only affordable option on that bike.
    I'm an Actuarial Analyst for a Major Canadian Insurance Company. I analyse claims patterns to determine overall rate changes, as well as relative premium differences by various risk characteristics (eg. age, experience, claims, convictions, usage, etc.)

    State farm hosed me on my first policy last year when I started riding again. age 42 licensed for bikes 20+ years. TD just quoted me 1/3rd the cost of state Farm just 4 months later but as I understand it it also sounds as though TD fleeced a few themselves. All I can suggest is you need to shop all the companies you can as the quotes and rates are all over the dam place and make no sense what so ever. How is one company over $1300 and the next $580? Shop , Shop Shop....
