John Sharrard is the default go-to suspension guy at the racetrack around here.

    Re: Accelerated Technologies??

John is fabulous. He installed emulators from Race Tech in my BMW F800, which he modified and reworked my forks. Beautiful job. I went back later in the summer and he installed an Elka rear shock. He was working with Elka at that time developing a shock for the new 250 Honda series. The guy knows his stuff, but I found his prices to be fair.
Most of his work is at the track in the summer, he has a small shop with one employee at this house near Buckhorn. Not far from the 507
No hard sell, just gave me his opinion on what he thought was best, also seemed willing to get whatever product I liked or I could supply my own.

I really enjoyed using the 507 to test my new shock last year
btw last year after I left my forks with him I was wondering if I had made the best choice and then noticed in that months cycle canada that the editor was taking his bike " to John Sharrard the guru " for suspension work. That was good enuf for me.

He ain't kiddin...listen when you get the directions since his driveway looks like a narrow trail thru the bush...you would never think that there is a house and shop back there!

    Awesome.
He's taking my Bandit 1250 and installing the Elka 4 way remote rear shock and reworking the front forks with GSKR forks with OLHINS internals.
There is nothing out for the bandit as far as suspension so he asked to use my bike for development of an Elka rear shock.
I'm paying for the front forks but still getting a smoking deal.
Bikes going in tomorrow, and will be test run on the Gap in the spring.
    can't wait.

    Re: Accelerated Technologies??

I was extremely pleased with the work John did on my 03 R1' forks. I had him do his full "supersport" package with elka pistons, ktech adjusters, new seals, friction reduction throughout etc etc. The suspension work I had done made the most dramatic difference of any mod I had on that bike.

When it comes time to freshen up the ohlins forks on my 05, I will be going to him as well.

Don't know about championships, but John Sharrard is an ex-racer and he most certainly still knows his way around a race track quickly.

Good to hear positive reviews. Just bought a bike with ohlins cartridges and little AT decals on the bottom. Guess Ill be taking the bike to him when it needs servicing.
I plan on leaving this world the same way i came in...... Bloody and screaming.
