    Staggered wheelie question

Staggered wheelie with stock pegs, the bitches just fold up and thats just not cool! Got any tricks? I was thinking of just tacking the left one down or blocking it off (so I can fold it when I want too). Or do I have to resort to buying stunt pegs?

    Ill try and re explain...

OK so I stand up in staggered position (left foot on passenger peg, right on front peg covering rear brake), then I clutch it up. once it gets near 12 the back peg tends to fold up, so I lose my footing (problem!), at this point I hit the rear brake and bring it back down.

    Does that make more sense?

Rotate the brackets to a better position so they dont fold as easy....You can also add a second ball and spring to make the click stronger

I prefer folding pegs, because when you flip a stoppie there arent solid objects sticking out to stab you when the bike falls on you. And also when you crash they fold up, minimizing the chance of damage to your subframe....

I just dealt with the folding issue and eventually learned how to put my feet in the right position to prevent folding up, but some pegs brackets are worse then others because of the angle.

There are lots of options, from a simple tac weld, to a bolt and nut tightened to prevent folding. To aftermarket pegs and sub cages...Really just depends on how much your willing to spend or modify your bike....

I will try the nut and bolt option (maybe a washer or two aswell).

Hey I need a "Street Cage" (as in not a full cage) any ideas, I like the impaktek but i dont like the shipping charges lol.
