    Re: Anyone get "rider blues"?

Does this rider blues have anything to do with blue balls? Blue balls seems to attack in the summer right after unsaddling a bike!.

Hopefully this prolonged warm spell doesn't become a prolonged winter later on!

Yeah I think I've learned from this. Next year I'm not going to do winter storage at all, just gonna ride it randomly when I can. It's like every other week there's an opportunity to rip it.

I could have sworn to God snow is usually on the road for a few months at a time though, or maybe I just never actually paid attention because I didn't have a bike before.

This year I decided I was going to buy some things for the bike over the winter, so between ordering and waiting for deliveries, it's kept me occupied.

    =(

EDIT: Not that I can't ride, just not sure if it's worth it to adjust everything and then find it snowing a day later :@
EDITEDIT: And salt is bad for underneath bike yes?

Dood, interesting bike. Did you customize it yourself, or was it all f**ked up when you bought it?

    Re: Anyone get "rider blues"?

Rode the other day so that I can get the stabilizer mixed in and get the chain warm to clean up the chain for the last wash before storage. I didn't want to get off my bike lol. It is defenately weird not walking by it when I leave the house and really depressing cause we are getting really nice weather to ride in but it's stored now. Kinda had to store it too cause the last snow fall my dad had issues shoveling the walk way with my bike there

The only good thing is it's almost spring and I rode up to January Going boarding every day that I can and that's sorta fun like riding but not quite as much fun.

    Eff this.

Is winter usually like this? I honestly never noticed in the past when it snows and when it doesn't. I'm pretty comfortable with riding down to -5 weather (did it sometime in December).

If every winter is like this, where there's weird days with 0 and above temperatures, I may just not put my bike away next year. No point of putting it away.

I just ride it now and then. If it rusts out due to salt bad enough that it needs replacing (which I imagine will take many years, especially if I'm rust proofing), then I'll have an excuse to replace it. The joys of having a bike that ain't worth ****, lol.

Commuted 2 days last week on the bike. Waiting for the slush to disappear, then I'm on the bike again.

Nope, Only a few more weeks untill I can get back out again.
I was out only 3 weeks ago.
I love all the people who put the bike away so early and get the bike out so late, then complain about how short the season is.

Yeah i am contrmplating taking my bike out of storage. If the winter is gonna this soft why not. Look at today for example. Sometimes i go in the garage just to smell that bike smell. I saw a red bike looked like a 250 the other day parked outside sobeys at westney and kingston road and i was tempted to get mine
