There are two KLR's at the show at Suzuki of Newmarket, both barely broken in. Talk to Cam, he's owns one.
One was a red '04 with just over 4,000 km on it! It's begging to be ridden hard and put away wet!
Aviciouscycle.ca also specializes in Klr's, adventure bikes and mx.

Soooo.... That's it? You're cutting us off? Lol. Post up pics of the bike and the Farkles you'll be getting for it. Don't let anyone talk you into buying luggage etc until you've seen how well a canoe bag and some rope work for touring. (Forty dollars of WATERPROOF!)
Oh, get the SW-Motech guards on it before you take it offroad, ask anyone how much that Radiator costs to replace, never mind the turn signals and fairings. Replacing the crap stock skid plate is also a must to protect your engine cases from rocks etc.
Doohickey? Are you going to get the Eagle Mike upgrade done? I've seen the broken ones that Willys has in his garage, and the pics are NASTY of what the little buggers do inside the case.

Yes the doohickey only takes 10sec to adjust. But replace the factory doohickey and spring.
The failures are not from lack of adjustment but the springs and actual units breaking.
Rad is $900 CDN to replace. I have an invoice, thank god for insurance. Get the SW motech or Givi bars.

$251.99 at AVC for the SW-Motech, and $49.95 for the Doo basic kit. You'd need the gaskets as well.

Got my 2005 KLR today here in Cairns. 30 degrees out and incredible roads.
Had no problem flat footing it even with running shoes on so no problem at all with boots.
Hopefully get out on it this evening after getting insurance sorted ( cheap here ).
second riding season here I come.
