Hey folks,
Suspecting the battery on my '05 V-Strom DL650 is failing, as the voltage quickly drops to 12.0V (maybe lower) within a few days of being parked, and it has a hard time starting in cold weather. Probably still the original battery.
Just wondering where everyone gets their batteries from; local (Scarborough) dealerships good for this, or someplace like Canadian Tire? I've never had to replace a bike battery before, so never really looked around for pricing. I've been quoted $90 at one shop so far, no idea what brand or anything but I also didn't ask. But I had figured I'd be looking at more in the $50-60 range, since it's a fairly small battery.

Royal distributing just make sure they give you the dura batt around $40 not the yuasa if you are looking to save $. Do not buy a CT battery i have found them to be garbage, they last less than 1 season and expensive.
