    SOAR weekend itinerary Qs

    I'm thinking of racing next year and was hoping to get some feedback on how a typical weekend runs. Practice, qualifying, race length, etc. And for the first year racers, what was your experience like? Classes are likely to be 600 Rookie and Old Boys Club if this comes together. Thanks.

    I can't seem to locate a schedule for 2011 races, here's one from 2010.

    Only major difference that i can see is for 2011 all the qualifying heats were Sat morning, and the afternoon was for the endurance race. Maybe Ken has a more recent schedule that you can see.

    Friday = practice.
    Saturday = practice then heat races.
    Sunday = practice then finals.

    Heat racing and finals usually start late morning. The actual schedule of classes changes from one round to the next.

    Sorry just saw the thread. The order and mixing of the classes changes as we add and subtract classes like when the SRA comes with us. The main layout is the same.
    Thurs is Racer5 track day
    Fri is practice, On-Track and the qualification school
    Sat is practice and qualifying races along with the 3 hr endurance race to end the day
    Sun is practice and finals then awards
