A day to spare in Albuquerque...

Stuck an extra day after a tradeshow in Albuquerque I called up the local Eagle Rider dealer and, equipped with a 2008 Triumph Tiger 1050, headed to check-out Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Jemez Springs and Highroad to Taos bi-ways. 520km later, here are some pics. Great scenic riding, fast (marked 35-40 but in reality 50-70mph) semi-sweeper corners for miles on end, through the mountains and down in to canyons.

Nice pix - I wanted to head to Sante Fe in June - but time was running short and all I saw of New Mexico was pretty well the view from the Interstate. Next year I'm going back west and want to concentrate on New Mexico and Colorado - this year I spent most of time in Arizona - and time well spent, but so much in between Hamilton and Arizona left unexplored

Apart form sounding a little lawnmower-ish, it was a good compromise to an i4 (which i personally detest). Not bad overall. Very tall bike though. I'm 6ft with a 33" inseam and i was just able to flat-foot when stopped...
