Good old days. Sitting in the third row seats of the station wagon that faces the back window with no seat belt. They would never allow that anymore.
Catchy tune!
A good friend will bail you out of jail, but a 'true' friend will be sitting next to you saying...'damn that was fun'
Just occured to me. When did cops in North America ride Hondas? I thought it was always Harleys?
I love the old Hondas (ride one myself).
Can anyone identify all of the bikes in the video?
Awesome! Thanks for posting.

the dad looks like he's waving to the cop until he's outta site so he can let loose on his kid...travolta was a milf hunter...hmmm...honda's get milf?
I think moral of the story is that cops who rode honda motorcycles in the early 70's were too stupid to notice when a bald pedo was taking off with someones kids in his perv-wagon. The little kid in the back window is in fear, waving for someone to rescue them, then the cop pulls the bald pedo over and hands him a teddy bear, and pedo is like. whew.... close call! All the while that creepy 'good things happen' song is playing, and we hear the do dooo dee doo dooo as the car drives off while that poor kid is pounding the glass yelling noooooooooooooo!. Meanwhile back at the farm Travolta is hitting on the cops wife while he delivers the mail.
PS. My favorite part is the guy in the middle of the video pulling into the gas station paying with what looks like three quarters, so it's like 75 cents to fill up max! lol!

Funny that his picture is now on the wall at Bartel's Harley Davidson in LA for the many Harley's he's bought there. I guess the loyalty lasted about as long as the paycheque.

[QUOTE=RetroGrouch;1696207]A few city police departments, including Toronto, used the CB750P but they never really caught on. But the Kawasaki KZ1000 police special was used by many forces, including the LAPD and the California Highway Patrol. i worked on those bikes in the late 70's. the cops hated them so much that they beat the crap out of them to keep the harley contract alive. the police model was an automatic 2 speed. they like the beemers now.
