Hello from Mississauga!

Hello everyone!

New member here from Mississauga. I got my M1 earlier this year and was supposed to start riding in the summer but couldn't continue due to an injury (not motorcycle related). I'm back to normal now but at this point in the year it's too late to start over so I will have to wait until the spring. For now I'm trying to find out if there are any motorcycle shows around. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've also been looking at riding gear expecting to see end-of-season sales but not seeing any. Do these just not happen?

Welcome! A lot of great information on this site. From what I've been told, there will be a lot of deals at these shows where last seasons stuff is on sale and then showcases for the upcoming seasons inventory.

Two shows are coming up. The Toronto show is December 9-11 and another show is January 6-8.

The Dec. show is a great place to sit on all the new motorcycles for 2012...
As for deals...look around at the bike stores to get an idea of prices before you drop your coin at the show.

I have to say it's torture waiting until the spring. A few weeks ago I took the Get Your Feet Wet course with Learning Curves and now it's all I can think of!
