I know it is a seasonal business and the season is definitely over. So my guess would be that it is close. If you go up, keep in mind that it is a lot colder up there than it is here.

    Thanks.

They did got snow last weekend.
Full heated gears for that trip , just have to time it that i'm back to 100km from home and on the highway at or brfore sundown.

Fresh fish, always make the trip to killarney worth it, although its too much highway for a day.

Yup, Its an 800km day, can be a 900 for better route. But need to make sure they are open before going.

The other thing to keep in mind, if you haven't been there in a while, is that the gas station at 637 & 69 is gone.

There was a gas station there before? I remember one at the outfitters, thats about it.

I can't say I much cared for the fish and chips there in Killarney, although other motorcyclists I've talked to have raved about them.

Now the perch in Port Dover is another story...

    Re: Herbert's Fish and Chips

Herberts in Killarney closes for the season on Canadian Thanksgiving weekend I belive.

I don't remeber any gas staion @ 69 & 639. The last gas I used to use was a Petro @ the turn off for Alban, that closed a few years ago. I now use the Shell @ 69 & 522.

You could always use the outfitters or the Marina in Killarney if tou need to but you pay a premium.

Also of note I used to use Nobel (Esso, Tims, Wendys) as my first stop. They closed last winter when the town was bypassed. I make my first stop Parry Sound now.

A typical fun route was up SW13 thru and up to Rousseu, then tally ho swords rd to the 518. To cut the bordom of 69 I would also add the side jaunt of Hwy 529.
