I was riding up to the forks yesterday and I usually run up Heritage from Steeles. The apple picking cagers have gone mad...there's a whole pile of 'pick your own' places, and within a few minutes I experienced total chaos. It seemed like thousands of cars. It was also really hot, so people were impatient to get back on the road, and they were doing all kinds of stupid things without looking. You must really love apples to spend an afternoon in that mess on such a beautiful day.
I'd avoid the area this week-end. ride safe
