Richmond Hill man dies from injuries
A 48-year-old man, who was involved in a crash while riding his motorcycle in July, has died.
July 27, York Regional Police were called to the scene of a crash at about 10 p.m. at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Shaw Boulevard in Richmond Hill.
According to their investigation so far, police said a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was travelling north on Bathurst when it went through the intersection at Shaw and collided with a southbound 2010 Toyota Rav4, which was being driven by a 52-year-old Richmond Hill woman.
Police believe the Toyota was trying to turn left on to Shaw and struck the motorcycle.
The driver, a Richmond Hill man, and his 36-year-old female passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
This past Sunday, the man died.
If you saw this crash, contact police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7704 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-tips, leave an anonymous tip at www.1800222tips.com or text YORK and your tip to CRIMES (274637).

Rest in peace, rider.
rip to the rider and speedy recovery for the passenger
rip. can the driver be charged with manslaughter in this case?
dont understand this. if no fatality yes sure. but since someone died shouldn't the charges be upgraded? like, john doe pushes someone down the stairs, first it's assault charge. victim later dies in hospital. then it's manslaughter/murder charge. saw this on tv dont remember if it's a show or real story.
RIP rider. My condolences to family and friends.
Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
RIP rider, my condolences go out to family and friends and I wish the passenger a speedy recovery.
