    Hello everyone,

I was referred to this topic through a forum member and would like to simply extend an opportunity to utilize PlastiDip. DipYourCar.com stocks all colors of PlastDip, in large and small quantities. We have step by step instructional pieces on how to use it for automotive projects - and are extremely responsive to consumer emails and questions. You can save big time and anyone that wants it shipped to Canada can simply email me and it will ship out the next day via UPS. If anyone has any questions on PlastiDip, or how to use it - please feel free to shoot me an email - Fonzie@dipyourcar.com

UPS is a nightmare for the receiver when shipping US to Canada. Just letting you know. Ship USPS if you can.

Or ship to CBI International in Buffalo and pick it up yourself for like $5 plus gas.

I tried bringing automotive paint over the boarder once and had to leave it at the boarder.
I was told I cannot not transport hazzardous material over the boarder

We ship the PlastiDip under UN code 1950 - which means it's shipped as a consumer commodity. It bypasses all hazardous material regulations and I'm happy to say we've shipped to 6 Canadian customers in the past 5 days without any problems .

If you can ship via USPS I, and several friends, would be interested. Otherwise, I never buy anything from the US via UPS.

CBI will consolidate your packages for you at no extra cost so you can pick them up in one trip at your leisure.

I totally understand. However, the reason we use UPS is because USPS does not recognize the ORM-D rules which allow PlastiDip to be shipped as a consumer commodity for international shipping (it's a hazardous material because it's a spray can). If using USPS was possible and would cut down on the annoyance level for you - believe me, we would use them in a heartbeat.

If anyone's still wondering what this looks like, great thread here where someone goes over basically all of the plastics on his KTM 690 with this Plasti-Dip stuff:

Take a look, great pics... I think it looks fabulous.

I was thinking of going over the tanks and plastics on my GS500 with flat black paint this winter, but I think I might go this route instead. Looks good, sounds fairly durable, process for applying it seems dead simple.

OK, the Canadian branch of DipYourCar.com is now open. I know the retail price of PlastiDip in Canada is around $18.00. Our price is $12.50.

It ships to you from inside Canada, so there is no US to Canada shipping problems or cost.
