    Violent crash splits motorcycle in two




    One man is in hospital in hospital after his motorcycle was split in half in a violent crash on Burlington Street near Ferguson Avenue North early today.
    The motorcycle rider was rushed to Hamilton General Hospital following the 2:30 a.m. crash. He is believed to be in critical condition after being thrown some 20 meters in the collision.
    The man was wearing a helmet.
    Burlington Street is closed in the area as the Hamilton police collision reconstruction unit investigates.
    It is no known which way the motorcycle was travelling before it went out of control, struck a utility pole and three cars in a row. The machine was broken in two pieces and also smashed the wrought iron railings on a set of concrete steps in front of one of the homes in the area.

    get well soon. Looks like he's pretty damn lucky so far.

    Don't want to sound insensitive, but when you read these articles, do you ever get annoyed that the reporter doesn't state the model of the bike?

    We're talking The Hamilton Spectator here. I'm surprised they even wrote that a bike was involved in the accident. A crappy paper with the balls to start charging for their online articles. Hope buddy pulls through, that wreck did look pretty nasty.
