427 NB early morning crash - red & black EX500
Collector's lanes, north-bound, between Burnhamthorpe & Rathburn, close to 7 am (very dark at that hour now) on Tuesday the 4th.
Can't speculate on the crash details, got there after the tow-trucks (chasers) but before the emergency units. Was glad to see the rider conscious once the paramedics showed up and got his gear off. Taken to Etobicoke General ... wanted to go to the hospital and see how he was doing but got pulled on a call from work.
I really hope there are no major injuries, rider! I wish you a speedy and full recovery !!
PS: one of the chasers told me the frame was busted (it may be true, or false; can't really trust these guys); bike was leaking fluids and was just left there on its side ...
Moderation is the opposite of excess.
