It's looking pretty bad for Shannonville tomorrow. I am 95% ready to rock but I'm not sure I'm going to plug in for this one.

Hopefully the first responders there are experienced in treating hypothermia!

"TLDeano"? Who the heck is that?!?!?

I was holding out as best as I could, but in the end Rick and I are postponing. Unfortunately, I'm not in town for Thanksgiving or else I would have been all over the TMP weekend. Fingers crossed Oct 29 will still be warm, but the odds are small.

Linda at Shannonville is great. She said the track day will still be running tomorrow unless it's heavy rain. There are eight people registered, so they'll have oodles of track time.

I'm heading down with 2 friends, would have registered earlier if they had a means to do it online...

So that makes 11, but I'm sure there will be more roll-ups!

Too crappy out for me but I'll be there for the 13th as long as the weather is a bit better. Hoping to have my new dedicated track bike to try out at least once this year.

Well oh well... to those who missed it: OPEN TRACK DAY!!!

The AM was a bit chilly but just wore a thin turtle neck sweater under the suit and all was well. Sun came out for a few of our afternoon sessions. Boat loads of track time, and no red flags! Had a blast dicing it with friends and was a really great way to end the season for me this year.

Huge thanks to SMP and the marshalls who braved the weather so we could have fun today! See ya next year!

    Re: Shannonville?

It was a going to look like a good day, untill my front brakes locked on solid right before the pit entrance causing me to get slammed into the asphalt at thank god a low speed. Didn't even get 1 lap in left real early only to stop at a rest stop for some ice for my knee to find my buddys brand new r1 laying on it's side in the trailer. I've probably tied my bikes down well over 100 times and had no problems, just a bad day for us all around, glad to hear atleast some people had a good day.
