Sounds like an awesome trip!
It was indeed awesome. I hope it inspires you (and others) to go on one just like it.
With less than six months' riding experience, on my first bike -- a 600 cc, 110 BHP crotch rocket -- I rode 21,569 km around North America solo in 2011: ridermike.blogspot.com
Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done, because I am living proof otherwise.

Ok... I'd love to read this...
Where might I find it?
When I click the ridermike.blogspot.com link, I just get redirected back to this thread... Am I missing something?
Thanks!
If you clicked the link in my signature, it's designed to bring you here. To find the blog itself, just copy/paste or type "ridermike.blogspot.com" into your browser address bar the old school way (just like any other address you'd want to go to manually) and hit enter. It'll take you there specifically.

That worked!
Thank you very much!
I'm looking forward to reading this... something I would love to do...
Well thank you for taking an interest! I hope you'll be inspired by it to experience one of your own, too!

Hah, I found the exact points where I had my crashes:
#1, Tigard, OR:

#2, Tiburon, CA:

That road is less off-camber than I remember it, but there was a junkload of gravel on it. Right where that truck is, that's where I low-sided into the side of the hill.
