Like many active sports, shooting has the potential to cause personal injury.

    Re: Shoe

    Update:

Sorry for the lack of info. I was overwhelmed by the flurry of phone calls/emails/messages/dealing with the multiple departments of the insurance company and just trying to sleep at night.

I'm doing okay, resting at home, popping pills and awaiting test results.

I'm going to meet someone representing Jevco tomorrow and fill out some paperwork etc...

I went and saw my bike. It doesn't look too bad (to me). All of the plastics are damaged in some form or another.
The front end / right side seems to have taken the worst of it, the signal generator cover is cracked and the forks seem bent.

Guesstimates from those that have seen pictures are that it's a write off.

The bike adjuster was supposed to have gone to appraise it today but I haven't heard anything from them so I don't know if they've seen it yet.

Going to try and get some physiotherapy tomorrow after my meeting with the insurance rep.

I'm currently driving myself around and I'm man enough to admit that I no longer cry when I get behind the wheel although I am still very nervous.

I tip my hat to those that have survived bigger crashes, have had surgeries and have rods and appliances imbedded inside of them and yet still feel invincible. This experience has been the scariest thing that's ever happened to me and although I have my doubts, I won't let it deter me from riding.

Now, I'm an OFFICIAL member. I've dropped the bike a few times but this is way different.

Thanks again for your concern and support guys.
