    Re: Garage Floor

    Beautiful garage!!

When I reno'd my garage a few years ago, I too did the epoxy with prep etc etc...but once again it peeled as well, I will likely do some type of tiling in my next house...since my first one is now rented.

Then one morning I went to roll the bike out to wash it after being caught in the rain the night before, and it pulled a large piece of the epoxy up, so this year I decided to tile the floor.....

I'm pretty sure Darren used "Racedeck".I put mine down in 08 and it still looks great even with Stubby parking her car in there all winter dripping with salt and slush. The Racedeck locks together better than the costco stuff.I've seen it come apart under a cars tires. It is expensive tho.About $5 sq ft.

edit: Just had a better look at that old thread from the beginning.Holy time warp! I had forgotten about some of the old flame wars we had way back then.A lot of people are gone now.

The stuff I was looking at before was $29 for 4x1'sq. tiles. It was made of recycled tires and was nice and grippy. To do my garage was just way, way too expensive.
