That's only 114 k for you - but as I said I'm open to other suggestions for meetup.

I just know that one has, gas, good muffins and a good latte

and kiss on and off the highway.

This time of year with shorter days I figure early on the slab = longer on the lazy sections.

    spirited??

    quite sufficiently

read this entire article - you might dissolve some of your obvious misconceptions

Giovanni puts it best, “I’m shocked. I’d say you were doing 80% of a sportbike’s pace.” Suddenly it’s hard to see these as mere “scooters”, let’s drop the pretense and call them “bikes”
    http://www.onewheeldrive.net/2006/10...uzuki-burgman/

I'll take the 80% of a sport bike in the twisties as along with it comes comfortable 1000km days, 105 litres of storage without sidebags and no clunky transmission to deal with - just roll and go. They are fun, durable, not cheap and the best all around bike I've owned in 43 years of riding. Excellent ABS brakes and superb high beams ( as my riding partner on the N Quebec run a couple weeks back found out much to his relief. ) No slouch at the stoplight either thanks to the CVT.

perhaps ask that question about "spirited" here http://www.burgmanusa.com/forums/

    ••••

so do we have a meet up yet????

weather looks so dismal just now but hopefully clears by Sunday.

I'm thinking it's a bit early for most, your obviously hard core lol.

    That's okay - if it's raining I'm out
If it's scattered I'm happy to cruise on my own up that way - busy week with short staff need to blow the cobwebs out.
    Sure looks grim now

Hmmmmm= rain is gone - bloody cold tho 13 at 5 am but showing sunny both days and lovely 20 degrees on Sunday.
Think I might hit the Shed this morning for an early coffee once I warm up. Too many windows open and the fan was on.

Sunday sounds like a great day for a long ride. Nice as it is today, I have other commitments - hopefully I can grab a few hours later in the afternoon. I'll check the forum later today to see if you guys are still on and meeting spot and time are finalized. Don't know the area well but have a Garmin. I'm going up that way tomorrow in any event.

Nice route, thanks. There are some tracks there that I'll gladly "steal" . One suggestion: Take #2 instead of 35 between Moore Falls and Minden. It's considerably more scenic and entertaining: http://g.co/maps/jxmzd
