don't be a road crayon, wear your gear, the road doesn't care how "cool" you think you look when it's busy cheese grading your skin.

Sounds like a great day. Hopefully tomorrow will be that empty! I really hope they don't do that stupid 4 corner speed track tomorrow...

    thanks for the gws wishes...
taking the day off work tomorrow and go to the hospital tomorrow to see if I can get in to see a specialist before Wednesday...

Suzi doesn't appear too badly damaged... bit of fiberglassing and bondo work to do, and think she's going to need a new shift lever. Jer swung by and unloaded her for me. Says it doesn't want to go into neutral and even with the clutch pulled there's a ton of resistance to motion. Really hope I didn't screw up the shift forks in the tranny - if I did, I'll probably end up having to part her out, 'cause it would cost a ton to fix..

    Sigh...

    and I repeat, *SIGH*

Don't worry, your tranny is fine. It is probably binding in the pivot if the lever is bent badly enough or if the peg bracket got tweaked. I have what you need, pretty sure they fit 2nd gen 650 to 1000.

Speedy recovery buddy, and we'll get you back out there this season. Don't get scared in the brain, it was a little mistake (everybody makes them) you just got unlucky. Roll the dice again and go for it

I just took a quick look through a few of the videos I took and they turned out great, with lots of passing action. Randy, the camera stopped recording at 24 minutes (battery probably died) in the last session, right before our 4 or 5 lap battle Too bad... Got lots of other good action though. I'll go through it in more detail and make some YouTube versions on the rainy days this week. Did you wife get some good pictures?

It should be OK it was going into neutral at the track when we were loading it, I think something outside is binding. It will be good as new in no time SV parts are cheap. We can always raid Jer's bike for parts .

I think the nickname will have to be decided over beers sometime soon, this kind of thing needs group input.

Don't get to freaked out over this you made a simple mistake, take it slow and things will be good.

    your support is amazing guys...
unfortunately, shannonville is out. the simple action of putting on a shirt is agonizing enough to make me woozy... bone didnt settle in right place earlier and my vision went dim putting it back in.

kind of hoping for surgery, as it will heal that much faster.

thanks for the parts and help offers... depending on healing, plan on starting repairs in a month... will definitely get back on track soon... maybe a bit less push to start, but will be back.

Back away from the keyboard bud.Flat on your back is boring but better for all those soft tissues that are getting more bruised and damaged while you are moving around with a broken bone.
    Nuf said.......doctor is next.
You will heal a lot faster being a couch potatoe now.
