I would be interested in stretching my 950SM's legs. It's not really a SM bike, just looks like one. Does that count?

I am looking for your input on who would be interested in attending supermoto only track days at Mosport RDT in 2012, pavement only - no dirt, 4-6 times over the summer. This will not be racing simply track days to get SM people out then maybe into the series or...
Don't worry about cost - looking for what interest there is out there and how many would be serious (I know cost dictates, put that aside for this one), Just want to see what interest there would be if I put this together, weekdays or weekends just asking if its worth doing based on how many would show up regularly.
respond here, PM or email at supermotospecialties@rogers.com
I am not trying to solicit I want to find out how many would be interested in doing this in 2012 if I can put this together.
I put this here not the track day section - asking the question to all SM riders and anyone else interested.
Thanks,
Pete

Could be something to consider - a big bore class ??
Keith, Evan and I would be in for sure....I think it would be interesting to look at Cayuga in reverse with a hay bale chicane in the middle of the front straight as well....

I wouldn't mind taking my underpowered DRZ for several track days.
Thanks for responding guys, this is for every skill level not just seasoned riders, bring your DRZ they work great on a track !! same with WR and built SM machines - open to all skill levels.

I would be interested. I have done the RDT track with my supermoto and it was a hoot! I would assume that Chadta would also be in . . . . . depending on price
I am interested as well. Don't yet have a SM setup for my 530 exc but this would be the perfect justification!
can we try it this year ?
I'd be interested in a few sessions next year!
MODE ON
I really do want to give SM a try...
Stiffen up the suspension, throw on some better asphalt tires and have some fun, but I'm only on a 250F.
I would love to try this year. Who else would be in for this year?
Thanks everyone who is submitting a reply, keep them coming.
This will hinge on how many people will actually committ, maybe and might are close as this is for next year not this year. (thanks, lets stay on focus for this one)
Engine displacement won't matter - bring your KLX250 or TM660 !! It is intended to bring out the SM riders to a relatively local track for some fun and grow interest for the sport - as we can see by the comments plenty of people want to try it out, this is just 1 opportunity. Not having a bike is an issue, wheels are simple, sometimes both can be done by sharing with a buddy.
The more the merrier !!
Thanks everyone,
Pete
I'm in.
OK, so here's the deal - there is none.
Due to the small interest in this option, which i have posted in a few locations, combined there is just not enough people interested to do this, therefore I will consider this post closed.
The small number of interested riders for this option does not justify the cost for even 1 day.
Thanks for all those who participated in this, hope you keep ripping SM wherever you can.
Pete
what about opening up the day to sportbikes and having an SM specific group?
Isn't the RDT going to be too tight for sportbikes?

Nope.
There have been lots of sportbike trackdays run there.
