I stopped by shortly after the accident occurred. Rider was conscious and able to communicate. Big thanks to the doctor, nurse or emt that was on the scene as this happened.

    Rider, hope you recover soon.

    Another co-worker from Toronto Fire!

Our pumper ran the call on Saturday's shift. Not much in the way of details other than the crash bars took the impact of the bike damage (Harley) and the brother rider is going to recover, but suffered a badly injured foot. Get well soon my friend. Thoughts are with you!

That was my buddy Lee - I just found out about it tonight as I was on vacation. Poor guy - he broke 3 ribs, punctured his lung, and cracked one of his neck vertebrae! Thankfully he'll recover. Had to write off his bike too, a GORGEOUS 2008 H-D Electra-Glide with the most incredible custom paint.

GWS rider... This is why I go easy and keep far away from cars around me... its the only way I think we can prevent this kind of stuff... then again, anything can happen. All the best
