    Husband and wife bikers

My wife and I are getting into motorcycling and I'm wondering how many more husband and wife teams are out there?

BTW: My wife has a Yamaha TW200 and I have a Kawasaki Ninja 650R.

My Fiancee' and I, been together for 11 years, both ride. The best thing about it, is that when the baby comes, she wont let me get rid of the bike!

    I ride a GSXR 1000 and she rides a GSXR 600

My wife and I both ride. I have been riding for years and years but she is on her 3rd season and her 3rd bike. I currently ride a ZX14 and she rides a 2010 GSXR 750. We mainly ride together but do the occassional group ride. Been a very positive experience. We use the Scala Communicators so she can tell me what I am doing wrong while I ride.

Yep, two liter bikes in the family here.

I've dated chicks with bikes before and they couldn't keep up. I know other guys who dread riding with their girlfriends because they're slow etc etc. I'd hate to share this hobby with someone who wasn't at the same level of skill/comfort as me.

Cool. I'm hoping to have my M2 next week. Taking the Durham College M1 Exit course this weekend. My wife has here M1, but is getting her M2 in a month or so.

We might just take you up on the coffee offer.

    Re: Husband and wife bikers

I've had my licence for a few years and my wife got hers last year. She has a CBR125R but she is likely going to be riding my 2009 Ninja 650R by the end of this season and I am hoping to get another bike for next season. I love it, the only issue is we have young kids so we don't get out together too much.

Mine rode all season, first born in January. I swear my daughter's wild side is from all the miles on the bike.

With the second it has been harder to get out (seeing as we need care for the first) but we still made Friday the 13th and have a trip planned for Sept (number 2 due in late November)

I ride a 99 GSXR 600 and she rides a 02 GSXR 600. We aren't married yet but it sure feels like it. Live together, have a kid (a black lab ) ride together and play Call of Duty.

I ride with my wife. We're both long time riders who returned back to riding after many years. I ride a VFR800 and she rides a bandit 600, although I think she may be due for a horsepower upgrade. We ride a lot together but also do the occasional group ride.

Like one of the other posters, we use scala communicators.

Not wearing gear while riding is like unprotected sex. Sooner or later you're going to get a rash!

That relationship is doomed now that she broadcasted the information all over the internet like an excited teenager

well I am a teenager, and it is exciting. It's survived 4 months so far, I don't see why a few more gtam members knowing would kill it.

    Another bike couple here.

My fiancé rides a Honda VFR 800 and I ride a Ducati Monster 696.

I wouldn't have it any other way, as I like to say at least for myself, 'a couple who rides together stays together' lol.
