Hi everyone,
Ever wonder what to do, where to go and who wants to come out riding with me?
I have to say it but I never want to ride alone. I ride a cbr125 and just wanna meet more riders and ride more.
Newbies welcome, I need you so I don’t feel so bad (its my first summer). Leaders welcome, I need you so I feel more confident. This group will probably end up small given the layout for the day.
This ride we only do the maximum speed or traffic speed.
Saturday, August 27, 2011 RIDE-EAT-SIT & CHILL details as follow:
MEET: Pacific Mall SOUTH entrance @ 9:30am
WARM-UP RIDE: to be arranged by Friday evening, any suggestions?
DESTINATIONS:
1. Breakfast/Lunch @ Cora 3760 Hwy 7, Markham
(bacon, eggs, sausages and fruit anyone?)
2. Great Blue Heron Casino @ 21777 Island Road, Port Perry
(try your luck! blackjack, roulette, baccarat and poker? We will stay for 3hrs max)
3. Destiny Bubble Tea @ 165 York Blvd., Richmond Hill
(drinks, desserts & snacks)
(if no one have dinner plans, BUFFET KING will end our day J
Basically this ride is just from one place to the next and if it falls into your category of interest, feel free to join.

Sounds exciting. Count me in! I'm not a noob rider but I'm not fit to lead either. I'm somewhere in between, third summer riding. Also terrible with directions I get lost almost all the time when I go riding (No GPS
). But chin.r this looks very fun.

I could lead. That's only if my crew don't make it for Saturday. I lead a ride in Milton every Saturday.

Hey Chinr...I wouldnt mind joining up with you folks for half a day anyway (up to the Casino.) I can lead...got lots of experience in that and I'm a pretty sedate rider (with new riders, pace would be around +10 max.) I also suggest that it would be better to meet at the Esso gas station on the SW corner of Hwy 7 and Main St (Markham Rd.) to keep the group riding in the city to a minimum. Trying to keep a group together in city traffic, with changing stoplights etc. is brutal.

Sounds like a good ride. I'll tag along until the casino, then lead a group (or solo) back to Toronto.

Just spoke to Chin.r - There has been a bit of a revision to the breakfast place.... otherwise everything the same. I will lead from Pacific Mall until Great Blue Heron, then probably will take off for more riding (will post route at end of this.) Here is the agenda.... slightly modified from the original:
MEET: Pacific Mall SOUTH entrance @ 9:15am (we will roll out at 9:30 - please arrive with a full tank of gas)
This might be a fairly large group (10-12) so it will be wise to split into two groups. We'll see how many show up. If we split, we will need another lead and another sweep. Group speed will be the posted speed limit - the more experienced riders may want to be in the second group if they want to ride at a more spirited pace.
