another question that has been pondering in my empty head for quite some time today...
at what point do you guys replace your tires? when completely bald, 10% tread left, 20%? i know this is a personal thing, just curious as to what majority out there do...

2CT simply means 2 compounds...

ya the 2ct is a dual compound tire, but so is the power pure, different percentage of softer/harder compound than 2ct

Best is the Diablo supercorsa, 2nd best but much better priced is the Dunlop Q2.

You're right, I didn't... but seriously, the 2ct's from what I hear (a few friends put them on this year) they are not impressive ant a bit of a ***** to ride in a straight line. The drop in on them is excessive for the street. I think Ill go with the metzler M5s next time around

I have 2ct's on my zx10 and they're good on the street spin fairly easy though. Tried them on the track this weekend....not so good but I've only ever used 211 gp/gpa's on my track bike so I've been spoiled

Who, besides you, has mentioned anything about a Pilot Power 2CT?

Caboose recommended the Power Pure 2CT, not the Pilot Power 2CT. The two are different tires but both carry the 2CT designation because they're both dual compounds.
