    Are courses like these mandatory for motorcycle officers?

    Im pretty sure its normally more of a competition, to test skills against others...

    You can usually see peel regional police do the rider training behind the hershy center in mississauga. Very similar to this.

    Reminds me of my driver course I took, only amped up!. Nice driving
    Work day's canceled due to lack of interest. Gone riding.

    The lady cop that picked me up from the DVP when I laid my bike told me that her rider's course is a week long, imagine what we accomplished in 2 days MSF course and on top she was a rider. I am not surprised at the skill level of police bikers.

    I thought you were supposed to lean into the turn, not away from it. Either way, he's got a million times more control at those speeds than I do.

    You go high and wide on the tank, weight the outside peg. You can get a better lean angle. It took me a while to get used to but once you do you surprise yourself how tight you can turn.
