    From CTV

The officer has been identified as Const. Ricardo Torchia. He worked in 23 Division and had been on the job for several years.

I just heard about this and feel sickened. My deepest condolences to his friends and family. I have put in a word to a colleague of mine to see if we, as a organized group of riders, would be allowed, or welcomed, to attend the funeral services.

I know the area very well and the speeds of both cars and trucks are always high there. Truly very sad.

yeah I was trying to sort it too - that's 6 lanes I guess there. The rider was west bound and truck east bound turned into his path or flat out hit him turning left - not sure which?. Did not really want to discuss specifics in this condolences thread.

I enjoy listening to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.
