RIP Rider.....my condolences to his family and friends.
From CTV
The officer has been identified as Const. Ricardo Torchia. He worked in 23 Division and had been on the job for several years.
RIP Const. Ricardo Torchia.
Lets ride for him.
Caught this on Global News.
RIP Rider/Officer. My deepest condolences to all family and friends.
I just heard about this and feel sickened. My deepest condolences to his friends and family. I have put in a word to a colleague of mine to see if we, as a organized group of riders, would be allowed, or welcomed, to attend the funeral services.

yeah I was trying to sort it too - that's 6 lanes I guess there. The rider was west bound and truck east bound turned into his path or flat out hit him turning left - not sure which?. Did not really want to discuss specifics in this condolences thread.trying to figure it out...dump truck turning? Rider hits truck?
