Thumbs up July 31 - "DDR" DUCATI Day Ride (not Dance, Dance Revolution)

Are you ready for some DDR action?!?

Time to step away from your gaming console/arcade machine and hop on your DUCATI for a ride up to the Bancroft area on Sunday July 31st.

We will be meeting at 9:30 and launching promptly at 10:00 AM from the Tim Horton's meet up location at the corner of Winchester & Baldwin in Brooklin (5939 Baldwin Street South, North Whitby).

This is being organized by my Ducati mechanic, who already has commitment from 12 other riders/his clients (including myself). Looking at the list, it will be quite the mix of Ducati's including: Monster, 999, 1098, 848, Multistrada, 1198, etc.

I'll be riding my Monster 695, of course.

We'll be stopping for a hearty lunch when we pit-stop near Bancroft and are planning to be back in the GTA in the afternoon.

At 12 bikes, it's looking to shape up to be quite the convoy of desmo-action already... so bring your open dry-clutches and Termignoni pipes.

Show your commitment by replying to this thread... I'll start the list of user names in this post (now updated):
    1. Repooc (Monster 695)
    2. acto (Monster ?)
    3. tej jatt (1098 )
    4. sticker (Hypermotard)
    5. sammy (Monster 750 Dark)
    6. monsi76 (Monster 796)
    7. lennay1031 (Monster 696)
    8. blackrooster (749 Dark)
    9. mjocanada (Monster 1100S)
    10. R1Girl (1198 )
    11. 7:49pm (749 Dark)
    12.
    13.

    Cheers,

hey there its COP TZR from the DMF forum. I'd like to be in for this ride. I missed out on the last ride because I'm still waiting for parts so I can get my Monster back together.

If parts are here this week then count me in for the Sunday ride.

    Hey guys,

I ride to Kennedy Commons all the time from my place in Whitby, and it takes about 20 minutes at most ..... and at that time on a Sunday morning, you can probably be here in less than that.

For anyone from the markham/gta area that want to ride to Brooklin together, there's a Tim Horton's on Highway 7 between Markham Road and 9th Line.
Meet up around 8:45am, should take about 30 mins to get to Brooklin to meet up with everyone else.

This may look promising for me! Parts finally arrived. Got to install the new chain & sprockets, mount my mufflers, install the new battery and I think I'm ready to roll!!!! I too live in Markham very close to that Timmies at Hwy 7 & 9th line. I will update tomorrow evening if my bike is ready and confirm meeting you other riders at that Tims on Sunday morning. I will hopefully get it done Friday. It will be the first time my bike sees the road this year. Fingers crossed
