Ya I watched it again and yes he rolls off the throttle AFTER the back end is coming round. Considering the grip levels at that track, I'm surprised.

he was not even trying to hand of the side. you can see the reflection of his head on the tach.
his entire body is over the bike.
center of gravity was way off, not enough speed maybe. probably the result of a few things.
kinna just looks like he ran out of tire.

Agreed. Never moves his body, gets on the gas and runs out of tire. He doesn't actually chop the gas until the slide starts, or possibly right before, lowing the lean angle of the bike causing the loss of grip. The reason DTC doesn't kick in is because there is no wheel spin as he purely ran out of grip causing a lateral slide.
