yikes...plus the sun reflection off the asphalt, being in leathers, heat from the bike, and if there isn't wind

For those committed to going, ride smart and safe, check your tire pressures after sessions cause they gonna be up there.

Of all the reasons not to do a trackday, "it's too hot" is the lamest. No rain tires required, no cold tearing of your new tires, no fogging of your shield, just a bit of heat, uncomfortable but easy to manage. Go out early in the day, drink massive amounts of water and skip a session if you're not up to it. Easy, peazy.

Hydrate people!!! Get electrolyte mix too. Or even gatorade will work.

You should be trying really hard to drink enough that you DO have to keep peeing throught he day.

Man I've been waiting for this! First time at Long track this year, sure it won't be that comfortable in the heat but it's hardly enough to call uncle! Keep in the shade, pack a towel to throw at the bottom of the cooler for the back of your neck between sessions, and what they said too.

Everyone stay safe and looking forward to seeing you out there. I'm on the dirty old gixxer #47.

Look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. Just put the bike in the trailer, time to get some rest.

    See some of you tomorrow!

PS - Look out for me on the rattle can sky blue / orange R6 #42

PPS - I'm bringing up 3 sets of Pirelli SC1 Slicks (12-18 laps on each). I'll be looking to get rid of them if anyone is interested. / 90$ set

GRAYZ pretty sure I saw your bike now that I see your Avatar.

Man it was a hot day, every time I came into the pit after a session I"d be hyperventilating till my helmet came off. And a heat rash.

First run with a GOPRO. I know I"m slow but happy I got below 2:10.

The heat definitely got the fatigue going earlier than normal! But better than a day at work... lol! I decided I had enough fun by around 3pm, the day went really smoothly as usual for RC!

Stnd, did I get you in my vid? - it's in the track videos thread!

You got me, at 7 seconds into the video you pass me in the pits. My cousin (Hypermotard), Friend (R6 lowside first session lol, bruised ego only) and Me (all Black Daytona/suit).

I have only ever done RC days so far (3 total, 2 long, 1 fabi) and it's always super smooth.

I'd like to find out who the film crew was out there that day. They got some nice shots around the track. But they were there for a few riders.

RC are my favorite track day organizer, I always buy a package at the beginning of the season.

The film crew was from Discovery Channel, they were getting some footage of the guys from Kreater to include in a documentary.

BTW, sweet bike! If I didn't get good drive out of the hair pin, you'd be gooooooone!
