Tobermory, HWY 6 conditions

Any one been up there lately, heading up on Tuesday. I heard there was construction on 6 south of Tobermory?

I came down 6 from tobermory about a week and a half ago,their was construction but nothing too serious

Came across on the ferry on Friday night. There were no issues...flew through. Some minor construction on 6 ON THE ISLAND...but nothing held us up at all.

Sidenote...sh!tty ropes provided on the ferry to tie down. Take your own ratchet straps (x2) if you go!

Ya I used those ropes last year, got straps thus time. Thanks everyone for the road reports.

yep...i came back on sunday from a long weekend camping and no problems...only minor construction spots but nothing that can affect your ride.....ride safe and have fun....

Well, don't use the 6 then. The 10 through Hanover is a little more fun, and on the edge of the town of Scone there's a little place called the "Harley Blues Café". Their hours are kind of wonky, but they'll hook you up with a some good roadside food. Owner's a french girl who rides too.
