I had gone thru turns much more agressively all morning.I'm convinced it was a traction problem. But as the title of this thread says,"fall down go boom".Gravity sucks donkey balls.Sorry about the language, but the bruising is starting to really hurt!

Your problem was that you rolled off the throttle before you hit T1, you should have just kept that DUC wide open all the way through

Looks to me like you were going to fast into the corner let go off gas braked for a millisecond and you lost control? It's not easy to tell from the camera mount position.

    Glad your allright though!

Yah,pain killers.I thought i was done yesterday. But woke up this morning to a torso that's a rainbow of really cool coloured bruising.I changed my knee sliders for that session to celebrate Canada day a bit late. The splill did a number on the outside edge of my left knee and took a chunk out of the slider. That was a nasty one.

If i'm not mistaken that section of the track drops away and kinks left.....your front unloaded and didn't have any traction.

Ya know what?I think your'e right.I have watched the vid a lot of times now.And you can see the horizon dip a bit just as the front goes away.Maybe if my line had been a bit better thru there it wouldn't have happened.Lesson learned,i rode beyond my abilities for that track at that time.

Stubby is actually being really good about it.But she hasn't seen me without a shirt on yet. This isn't easy to hide.

A better approach to that kink would be to go over it with alot less lean angle.....therefore straighter. I've you done turn 2 at Mosport...at speed....its more extreme, but a good example fo the track falling away.

You lost the rear, not the front. You can tell by the way the camera points further into the corner as you go down - the bike is yawing left and it's not because the front suddenly gripped, it's because the rear suddenly lost it.

I'm still wondering about the drop in engine revs right before the crash.

In looking at the video over and over, I agree.

Ric, can you post a pick of the left side of the tire?
What did you set your tire pressure to? (cold & hot)

It may be due to the wide angle of the GoPro, but if the bike was more to the right of the track before turn, wouldn't that reduce the sharpness of the turn & required lean?

Again, glad you walked away and thanks for sharing the video.

Interesting... right about the 4:58 mark, the engine seems to stutter/hesitate just before the slide...

Ric was the engine running well that weekend?

Can't give you a pic of the tire.I did a session sunday morn with the bike bandaged up.28 front 30 rear.Didn't check them hot.The cam is a TachyonXC.I am still POSITIVE the front tucked.I just didn't know why. After watching the vid dozens of times,i'm pretty sure that the combination of being off line a bit, leaned over a bit too far and having the front unload a touch in the little dip just before the apex caused the front to tuck.

The "stutter" you hear is just the odd sound the muffin makes. It's 13/1 motor on race fuel sounds a bit different than most.It was running perfectly.I was holding a very constant throttle thru there.

edit:and the other big reason i fell off is,i'm not Jordan Szoke!
